Atari is one of the most influential companies in video game history. Founded in 1972 by Nolan Bushnell and Ted Dabney, it transformed electronic entertainment with Pong and helped make arcade machines and home consoles a global cultural phenomenon.

This exhibition explores the systems, machines and ideas that shaped an entire industry: from early arcade successes to the Atari 2600 bringing games into the home, alongside computers, handhelds, accessories and objects that reveal the brand’s technological ambition.

Along the way you will find legendary consoles, computers from the Atari ST family, the Lynx handheld, the Jaguar, arcade machines, peripherals and original materials showing Atari’s impact on generations of players and creators.
